The Youth Activities Program encourages young people to develop leadership skills, embrace good citizenship, and gain a deeper appreciation for the freedoms we enjoy. Through patriotic programs, community involvement, and meaningful recognition, the VFW Auxiliary helps inspire the next generation to become informed, engaged, and compassionate leaders.

By partnering with schools, youth organizations, and local communities, Auxiliary members provide opportunities for young people to learn about American history, honor our nation's veterans, and discover the importance of service to others.
What we do

Promote patriotism and responsible citizenship among youth.

Foster a love for reading and history through our Patriotism Through Literacy program.

Sponsor the Illustrating America art contest, inspiring elementary and middle school students to express patriotism through creative artwork.
