The Legislative Program empowers VFW Auxiliary members to become informed advocates for veterans, service members, their families, and survivors. Working alongside the Veterans of Foreign Wars, we educate members on legislative issues, encourage grassroots advocacy, and help ensure the voices of those who served are heard by elected officials at the local, state, and national levels.

Through informed action, we support policies that protect earned benefits, improve access to healthcare, strengthen military readiness, and enhance the quality of life for veterans and their families.
WHAT WE DO

Educate members about legislative issues affecting veterans and military families.

Promote participation in the VFW Action Corps and legislative advocacy efforts.

Encourage members to contact elected officials on issues impacting veterans.

Support the VFW's Priority Goals and advocate for meaningful legislation.

When VFW Auxiliary members speak with a united voice, they help influence policies that protect those who have served and ensure future generations of veterans receive the care, recognition, and support they have earned.
