Standing Beside Those Who Served.
The Veterans & Family Support Program connects veterans, active-duty service members, National Guard and Reserve members, their families, and survivors with meaningful assistance, resources, and recognition. Through compassionate service and community partnerships, the VFW Auxiliary helps meet immediate needs while honoring the sacrifices of those who have served our nation.

From welcoming home deployed service members to supporting military families during times of hardship, Auxiliary members work year-round to ensure no veteran or family feels forgotten.
What we do

Support veterans and military families through outreach and assistance.

Recognize and assist active-duty service members, National Guard, and Reserve members.

Promote awareness of available veterans' resources and benefits.

Encourage mental health awareness and suicide prevention by promoting available resources, reducing stigma, and fostering supportive communities.

Support homeless veteran initiatives, Stand Downs, and emergency assistance efforts.

Organize care packages, appreciation events, and community service projects.

Partner with local organizations to meet the changing needs of veterans and their families.
Why it matters
The challenges facing veterans and military families don't end when military service is complete. Whether transitioning to civilian life, overcoming hardship, facing mental health challenges, or simply needing to know someone cares, veterans deserve the continued support of the communities they defended. Through compassion, service, advocacy, and awareness, the VFW Auxiliary helps ensure they never face those challenges alone.
