Strength Through Fellowship
Last month we reflected on God’s call to serve.
We are called to serve…
…but never to serve alone.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
For if they fall, one will lift up the other.” Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NKJV)
One of the greatest blessings of the VFW Auxiliary is the fellowship we share. While our organization exists to serve veterans, service members, and their families, it is also a place where lasting friendships are formed. We celebrate together, mourn together, encourage one another, and walk beside each other through life’s joys and challenges.
This month, I invite you to intentionally strengthen the bonds within your Auxiliary. Reach out to someone you haven’t seen in a while. Welcome a new member. Encourage a fellow member who may be feeling discouraged. When we genuinely care for one another, we reflect God’s love and create an environment where every member feels valued, encouraged, and inspired to continue serving.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of fellowship and the privilege of serving together. Help us to encourage one another, share each other’s burdens, and be quick to offer kindness, compassion, and prayer. Strengthen the bonds of our Auxiliary so that Your love is reflected in all we do.
We lift up those who are facing illness, loss, or difficult circumstances, asking that You surround them with Your peace and comfort. Guide us as we continue serving veterans, their families, and one another with humble hearts.
Amen
In Faith and Service,
