Scholarship Season Starts Now!

Sisters and Brothers,

Congratulations to all incoming Department of Oklahoma Line Officers, Program Chairmen, District and Auxiliaries Officers! I am honored that President Frank Matek has asked me to continue to serve the Department as Scholarship Chairman for the 2026-2027 year. Sister Deborah Miner-Gonzales has graciously accepted my request to assist as Co-Chair! So Lets get this year started! The Theme for Voice of Democracy (grades 9th – 12th) and Patriot’s Pen (grades 6th – 8th) has been announced as “What a Veteran Taught Me About America”, with the deadlines being Oct 31st, 2026.

Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest and the 3-Dimensional Patriotic Art Contest for grades 9th – 12th will be March 31st, 2027.

The Continuing Education Scholarship deadline will be Feb 15th, 2027.

Malta is an excellent resource for brochures, pamphlets, press releases and Ambassador blogs. Get your articles out to the newspapers, Facebook media and other news outlets that you have access to. Call and visit your Schools now to get the information out to the Teachers, Parents and Students!
