Preserving Our Auxiliary History

The SOI was great.

Last month we went over the 5 W’s: Who, what, when, where, and why. Donna’s theme is “Serving America’s Heroes” and Frank’s is “Power of One”, I do believe we can achieve this.

Now is the time to start reporting. Feel free to send me your photos, articles, or reels. Let’s see your new officers, pictures. (Installation Pictures, I have not found any posted on FRANK PICTURES.) I can not share from the Programs FB page because it’s a private page.

This month goal: Pictures of your Presidents: have fun catching fun pictures for me. You will see them again at end of year.

National wants all Auxiliaries to put their history together and since we just came off of 100 yrs, a lot has already been gathered. This is what National Ambassador Teresa is wanting. Do you know who your first President was? Do you have a original charter? Maybe pictures from events? Elections or News Clippings from over the years? You can make a digital copy of your information for department judging, winner will be sent to National for Judging. Start getting it together, I will give you more info.

Since were doing history, we used to put picture books (scrapbooks) together, lay out your items, label them with the 5 W’s, noting officers, members, events and include other information like flyers, newsletters, and we will judge them. I am really wanting to do this again (please let’s make this fun).
