I hope that you learned lots of new things at the School of Instruction in Tulsa! I hope the sessions provided you with valuable and practical strategies that you can begin implementing in your programs. Taking the time out of your busy schedules to learn these new things strengthens our entire organization.

As we begin thinking about what to do to help achieve our membership goals this year. I encourage you to plan and execute membership drives. With these membership drives, I encourage you to explore the list of resources available on MALTA. These tools are designed to support your recruitment and retention goals. Last month, the focus was placed on resources to attract younger members and matching member talents. This month, the focus is going to be on resources on how to retain the members that we have. The following is a list of resources that I encourage you to review:

• Auxiliary Benefits — highlight what membership offers

• Engaging Existing Members — highlight engagement and excitement to continue the work

• Recognizing Your Auxiliary Members — appreciate their dedication

• Value of ONE Member — always remember the importance of each member

If you’re not already following the Department of Oklahoma Programs Facebook page, I strongly encourage you to do so! This is your go-to source for timely membership updates, announcements about challenges, and opportunities to get involved throughout the year. Don’t miss out on important information and community engagement.
